Addiction and Habit Control

You can change undesirable addictions and habits with the help of hypnosis and improve the quality of your life.  Hypnosis is one of the most effective methods for changing unwanted habits. You may consciously want to change but feel unable eliminate the self-defeating behavior patterns or addictions  on your own.

These  unwelcome addictions and habits are controlled by the subconscious part of your mind, and the subconscious is not as easily communicated with because it has a language of its own.  As a result, the subconscious may not know how to change the behavior that it controls. The  objectionable behavior may have originated long ago as a way for you to cope with things that are no longer relevant or that even exist.  Nonetheless, through repetition, these habits and addictions became imprinted in your subconscious and continue to be generated against your will.

The Hypnotherapist guides the client into a state of hypnosis, uses  hypnotic language to communicate with the subconscious mind, and makes suggestions designed to help it to understand that the undesirable habit is no longer needed as a coping mechanism because there are better behavioral choices that are more appropriate to the client’s current needs and life experience.
